4 arrested for trafficking 2 sisters to India, forcing them into prostitution: CID

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested four members of a human trafficking gang on charge of trafficking two sisters to India.
Rana Ahmed, Sujon Mia, Sahabuddin and Naimur Rahman Shamim were arrested from Jhenidah and Chuadanga, said Nazrul Islam, special superintendent (Serious Crime Division) of CID.

The arrestees along with some others trafficked two sisters to India in May last year where they were forced them into prostitution, he said.
The sisters managed to run away from the brothel and with the help of local police returned to Bangladesh in March this year, he said.
